11月11日-14日，张旭苹、路元刚、宋跃江等老师赴京参加了Photonics Asia 2007 国议会议。由张旭苹教授担任主席的PA07-PA117主题共收到来自美国、加拿大、韩国、新加坡、香港等十多个国家和地区的论文129篇，其中录用86篇。会上，宋跃江博士作了题为“High power low RIN Brillouin fiber laser with optoelectronic oscillator configuration”的特邀报告。路元刚博士作了题为“The use of BOTDR to evaluate the thermal effects on fiber residual stress”的报告。
